Boulevard Diner: Wholesome Burgers and Fries (Closed)

During my latest visit in the Katipunan area, I got a chance to visit Boulevard Diner.  I've always had a soft spot for burgers so this is definitely my kind of place.  

It has a board which looks like a slam book filled with signatures from its customers.

Seeing how the walls are plastered with features and reviews made me more excited.  It seems a lot of magazine publishes and bloggers have been here way before I did.

I love fries and the huge enticing poster of US potato fries got my attention.

Although the area size is limited, I liked its American diner ambiance.  It has booth seats, white tables and red and white tiled floors.  I appreciated that everything you need is already on the table, not that I'm a messy eater.

Food

Sha-zam!!! Burger (195 php)

They had a lot on the menu so it took me quite awhile before I finally settled with my order.  I chose the Sha-zam!!! Burger which in a red basket with load some and long fries.  The burger came tall and chunky with lettuce, tomato, beef patty, fried eggs, cheese square, bacon, hickory sauce and topped with crispy potato strings.  Upon seeing it, I paused for a second deciding on how to eat it.  It wasn't easy to hold it but its my usual way of enjoying a burger.  So, I close it and squeezed hard to bite.  This burger is definitely not just about the meaty patty, the mix of ingredients were surprisingly delightful.  The french fries were also good.

Boulevard Diner has a lot of burger choices that will make you wanna try more.  If you love burgers, this is definitely a place to explore.
