Eat Well! Delicious Kitchen at Net Quad Corporate Center has a typical Chinese ambiance with Chinese lanterns hanged and wooden fixtures.  The space is quite limited, but it occupies two floors.

♥ Steamed Salted Chicken Rice (235 php)

The  Steamed Salted Chicken Rice is served in a bamboo where it was probably steamed.  The chicken cubes were soft and succulent that I barely need to chew.  The rice is also filled with mushrooms which enhanced its flavor.  I love it.

It has a large and spacious area with traditional wooden tables and chairs.  I think its one of the biggest establishments at the University Mall.  It adopts a fast food pay as you order style so it has a cashier counter that's visible upon entry.

Bulgogi Kimbap (95 php)

The  Bulgogi Kimbap is a nori-wrapped roll filled with bulgogi and leeks and dashed with some sesame seeds and mayonnaise.   I've tried many types of kimbap before but its my first time to try this.  I liked that the rolls were wrapped tight so its easy to eat as a whole.  This is a pleasurable and enjoyable to eat.

♥ Espresso of Two Pea Soup with Truffled Cilantro

With the Espresso of Two Pea Soup with Truffled Cilantro, I am convinced that we were in the best hands for the night.  I enjoyed the initial sensation from the truffled cilantro foam as I sipped the two pea soup.  But, it was the creamy two pea soup that got me hooked.  I tried to savor is as long as I could as I paired it with the chorizo on thin and crunchy crouton.  

♥  Sauteed Fresh Chanterelles in Cilantro Short Grain Rice Seared Duck Foie Gras and Black Vinegar Jus

The Sauteed Fresh Chanterelles in Cilantro Short Grain Rice has a huge chunk of Seared Duck Foie Gras laid appealingly.  It was my first time to try a chanterelles mushroom risotto and I certainly hope it won't be the last.  Although I usually find a huge chunk of Seared Duck Foie Gras too overwhelming, I was surprised with myself that I finished my plate clean wanting for more.

Calamansi Sorbet

U.S. Chuck Flap Steak and Charsiue of Lamb Rib

I chose the U.S. Chuck Flap Steak and Charsiue of Lamb Rib.  It's a meaty option I know.  But, I just couldn't say no to lamb rib and I'm glad I made the right choice.  The lamb rib was so succulent and tender exploding in clean flavor in every bite.  The U.S. Chuck Flap Steak is cooked medium-well.  Although I would have preferred medium, it was still juicy.  But, it did not stand out like the lamb rib.  Yet, I once again enjoy this to the last bit even the potato croquette, truffled mushed potato and sweet baby asparagus.

Fillet of Halibut with Sauteed Scallops

My friend ordered the Fillet of Halibut with Sauteed Scallops which is a lighter option.  The halibut and scallops were perfectly cooked.  The texture is soft and juicy.  

Mandarin Orange Frozen Timbale

The Mandarin Orange Frozen Timbale is served with Thai Basil-Raisin Jam Deep Fried Praline and Rose Syrup.  The Mandarin Orange Frozen Timbale is a frozen cream dessert topped with sweet mandarin orange slices.  It was my first time to try frozen cream with mandarin orange.  It was refreshingly sweet.  It was best eaten together with the rich a and sour Thai Basil-Raisin Jam Deep Fried Praline and Rose Syrup.

Lolo Dad's Cafe definitely deserves its great reputation.  Although the price is a bit intimidating, you get what you paid for with its top-notch food presentation and food quality.

As we walk in, we were welcomed by a Korean lady who instructed the server to guide us.


We passed the sushi and sake bar towards a private room which was just right for six people. 


Atop our wooden table, the utensils are already set up.  As we seated, the menu was handed to us.  I wanted to take a picture of it but the Korean lady warned against it.  However, as I browsed the internet, I found their menu posted on their Facebook fan page.  That was odd.

While waiting for our orders, we were given a Complimentary Salad which had a light oil-based dressing with a large slice of fresh tomatoes, roasted garlic and greens.  

Complimentary Miso Soup

We were also provided a Complimentary Miso Soup.  It was delicious and soothing.

Sashimi a la carte

♥  Saba (200 php) and  ♥  Mekakiji (200 php)

The sashimi was served in a beautiful platter looking fresh and tasty.  The Saba is largely sliced and it was exploding in flavor in every bite.  The Mekakiji is sliced in a distinct triangular shape.  It is the first time I've tried it and it is delicious.

Rolls

Rainbow Roll 8 pcs. (320 php)

The Rainbow Roll is one of the best looking sushi platter I've encountered.  It has lettuce, cucumber, crabmeat, avocado on top of tuna, salmon, shrimp and squid drizzled with mustard and hot sauce.  

Noodle

Tempura Udon (250 php)

The Tempura Udon is a mixed tempura with udon noodles in Japanese light soy sauce.  It was served warm and freshly cooked so the tempura batter is still crunchy.  The soup is slightly sweet and flavorful.

♥  Nabe Udon (280 php)

The Nabe Udon has tempura shrimp, shitake mushroom, onions, brocolli, leeks and naruto.  This is one of the best Udon I've ever tasted.  The flavor from the ingredients are sensationally glorified in every sip.

Ramen

Shin Ramyun (200 php)

The Shin Ramyun is a spicy Korean noodle soup with carrots, leeks and egg.  It was intensely hot as I could feel the sizzle of red hot chili running through my throat but nothing I couldn't manage.  It was nothing special even similar to instant ones but I enjoyed it anyway because I just love the spiciness.

♥ Gomuko Ramen (250 php)

The Gomuko Ramen is a ramen noodle with a great assortment of seafood.  It has shrimp, mussels, clams, fish fillet, bean sprouts, leeks, carrots, mushrooms and brocolli.  The soup is clear but it was so sweet and rich.

Rice

♥  Kimchi Bockumbap (240 php)

The Kimchi Bockumbap is our family favorite dish.  We just HAVE to order one when available in the menu.  This version is delicious!  It is dominantly spicy with a bit of sour and sweet taste.

Domo Maguro Restaurant serve delicious authentic Japanese and Korean dishes.  From the sashimi to the ramen, everything was satisfying.  The price is quite reasonable too.

♥ Xiao Long Bao 6 pcs. (138 php)

Here it is the Xiao Long Bao we've all been craving for.  This is the best for us yet.  This comes second to the Xiao Long Bao fellow Tsinoy Foodie Kurt's sister sends us from Taiwan.

The Hot & Sour Soup is good for sharing.  One order is already good for the six of us.  The soup is full of ingredients.  It was more sour than hot though.  But, I still enjoyed it.   This is my favorite soup after all.

The Sauteed Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts is light and saucy.  The chicken cubes were so soft, I barely felt the need to chew.  This was my favorite viand for the night.  

Seafood

Steamed Fish Fillet (338 php)

The Steamed Fish Fillet was cooked perfectly.  The fish was moist and tender that it almost melts in the mouth.  It had a right blend of sauce to that doesn't overpower the natural sweetness of the fish fillet.

Vegetable / Tofu

Sauteed Eggplant in Special Sauce (238 php)

Although I'm usually found of the Sauteed Eggplant in Special Sauce, I found this minced pork with eggplant dish too oily.  I'm glad that it was a bit spicy though to counter the oiliness that could get overwhelming.

Sauteed Fermented Tofu in Special Sauce (238 php)

Appreciating the taste of the smelly Sauteed Fermented Tofu in Special Sauce is not instantaneous.  In my opinion, it is an acquired taste.  Growing up in a Chinese home has made me accustomed to its flavors and I've grown to love it.  The more portions you eat of this, you'll notice that the taste gets better.

Kao Chi Restaurant is a great place to enjoy authentic Chinese food at a really affordable price.  Like most Chinese restaurants, the serving size is good for sharing.  Don't miss out on their Xiao Long Pao.  I highly recommend it.
