The Relik's Mixed Paella needs to be ordered a day in advance.  Just a bite from this sent me a blissful spike of happiness with its rich tomato sauce covered paella and generous toppings.  It didn't have any socarrat at the bottom as we were able to sweep this pan clean easily.  Although it was advise for 8-10 persons, we felt wanting for more even though there were only six of us.

Kuppa Roastery & Cafe is located just beside Floring's (see previous entry).  It has a huge area space covering two floors.  On the first floor, there's an area with high stools and a casual cafe set up with lounges.  On the second floor, they had a large executive type function area. 

Kurt had the Berry Patch Delight (130 php) are infusions from raspberries, hibiscus, elderberries, grapes, blueberries and blackcurrant.  It tasted similar to a mixed berry juice.

I had the Evelyn's Garden (130 php) which are infused from apples, rosehips, citrus peels and sunflower.  We were surprised that despite the difference in ingredients, it had the same color as the Berry Patch Delight but had a lighter shade.  It tasted dominantly of rosehips and citrus peels which is a bit zesty and fragrant.

Coffee Pairing with Dessert

It was suggested that we pair coffee with their desserts.  Let me share them with you.

Last Sunday, we spotted a new restaurant called Floring's at the Commerce Center at Bonifacio Global City.  The place is just a block away from St. Lukes Global City.  It was such a coincidence because yesterday, I was invited to sample some of their dishes with foodie friends.

I initially though that Floring's is an expensive diner because of the location and its attractive and mondaine facade.  To my surprise, Floring's is a casual self-service restaurant serving affordable meals.  We were invited during lunch time and the place was packed with eager customers.  The turn over during lunch time was quick.  I could see the Java rice and Plain rice refilling staff rushing to-and-fro.

The venue is spacious covering two floors.  I just love its chiq interiors.  It has distinct design on its ceiling.

Food

Porky-licious

The 2 Pcs. Pork BBQ is served with a cup or rice and atchara.  The Pork BBQ is tasty and tender.  I really enjoyed eating it because I didn't feel that the viand is disproportional to the rice.  The unlimited Java Rice is a unique concept of Floring's.  Shelling out an extra 21 php for it is worth it.

Chicken-tastic

The Lechon Manok is a flavorful one.  I enjoyed eating the white meat part with the soy sauce, calamansi and chili sauce.

Everyone was raving about the Crispy Chicken-Tastic Diablo.  It was quickly finished that I didn't get a chance to try it.  I shall come back for this.

Sweet Endings

Floring's Halo-halo is very chunky with caramelized banana slices, ube, cheese and more!  It's a must try!

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict

Floring's offers quality budget meals that will surely satisfy you.  I love their unlimited Java rice concept and will avail of it whenever I visit again.  Everyone also told me that the pork sisig is worth the try!  I shall try that when I come back.  The food is affordable so its easy to come back to any time of the day.
