SM Hypermart Food: Easy on the Budget Meals

Last year, we Tsinoy Foodies got hungry while waiting for DJ Van Dyk to show up in One Esplanade so we decided to go for a quick meal.  The nearest place we could go for some fast-served cheap eats is the SM Hypermart Food Court at SM Mall of Asia.  Most of the stalls were already closed but luckily, I SM Hypermart Food is still available.

The viands were all pre-cooked and displayed.   As soon as I paid for my order, I watched the staff as they reheated and packaged it.

Crispy Chicken Fillet in Mushroom Sauce with Rice (39 php)

The Crispy Chicken Fillet in Mushroom Sauce with Rice was not bad.  The Crispy Chicken Fillet were really crunchy and the meat was tender.  But, everything was fridge temperature cold.  Fellow Tsinoy Foodies Kurt was laughing while I ate it because we didn't have a choice since we were in a hurry.

SM Hypermart Food has a good selections of easy on the budget meals.  In terms of serving proportion and ingredients, you get what you pay for.  Next time, I'll request for another reheat though.  The roast chicken is okay too.
