With all prices hiking up, people are continuously in search for the best meal offers. Well, we Tsinoy Foodies, recently discovered Holy Cow! Sizzler's Meat All You Can for 399 php.
And, we're going to give you our Top 7 Reasons to Go For the Meat All You Can for 399 php.
1. No Lines
Holy Cow Sizzlers has two spacious branches that offers the meat all you can for 399 php. Both of them are so spacious, they can even cater to parties and functions.
We prefer the one in Ayala Trinoma Mall because we find its mall location to be quite convenient.
2. Ready to Eat
Although there is a time limit of 2 hours, all the dishes that you order are served fast (within 5 to 10 minutes), cooked, ready to eat in a hot sizzling plate. Yes, in essence this adopts a sit down and "order all you can" concept which is rarely offered.
Chinito (chicken na prinito?)
How great is that? You save time from 1) lining up and 2) cooking that you can
spend all that time for eating. In fact, we were able to eat here during our
work lunch break.
Chicken Fillet
Although the dishes here are served hot on a sizzling plate, it does not involve cooking the food on the table so its smokeless. Thus, you won;t have smoke sticking into your clothing. You can eat here on a lunch break and not worry about taking the smell of smokiness back to your office. You can take clients here for meeting too.
Beef
4. 5 Premium Meats
Aside
from the full service experience, they also offer an expansive
selection with many types of premium meat (with sauces!) and side
dishes.
Pork Belly
There are 5 types of premium meat dishes:
1.) Beef
2.) Pork Belly
3.) Chicken Fillet
4.) Chicken Chinitos
5.) Fish Fingers
Fish Fillet
Fish Fillet
Don't we love to eat our rice dishes with sauces? Holy Cow knows this so well that it offers 5
signature sauces:
1.) White Sauce (for the Fish Fillet)
2.) Soy Garlic (for the the Pork Belly)
3.) Spicy Barbecue (for the Beef, Pork Belly or Chicken Fillet)
4.) Peppercorn Gravy (for the Beef, Pork Belly or Chicken Fillet)
5.) Trio Mushroom Gravy (for the Beef, Pork Belly or Chicken Fillet)
Garlic Rice
1.) Garlic Rice
You can simultaneously order any premium meats and side dishes that you want. I'm sure those who cannot eat a meal without rice will order the Garlic Rice first.
Mashed Potato (the signature sauce works for the side dishes too)
Who could resist Mashed Potatoes?
Macaroni Salad
French Fries
The French Fries were thick cut and mushy just the way we wanted it.
Mojos
If you want potato in crisp and crunchy form then the Mojos is for you.
Sweet Potato
The Sweet Potato is an addictive choice for those with sweet tooth.
Cheese Croquettes
If we were to order just one side dish, hands down it would be the Cheese Croquettes. This is our first time to have this item for eat all you can. In fact, croquettes are usually offered in a Spanish restaurant for an expensive price. Take Terry Bistro's cheese croquetas for example, an order of 6 pcs. is already 480 php (as of the time we wrote this).
Corn & Carrots
Coleslaw
Buttered Vegetables
7. 399 PHP All Inclusive Price
You get everything presented in the Meat All You Can Menu for an all inclusive price of 399 php. The published rate is clear and simple unlike others who will present the lowest price only to find out that you have to add more for more options.

While I was waiting for my family at Katipunan I noticed a familiar looking restaurant with a different name. It has this Banapple restaurant vibe but it screams the name Sandwicheese!
Since my family is still at my little sister’s graduation at Ateneo Medical School, I decided to take a quick snack at Sandwicheese!
While I was there, I tried their Banapple Potato Salad, Grandma's Corn Chowder, Seasoned Fries, and Pretty Green Slime. All were good. But, it was the Seasoned Fries that got me hooked that I wanted to have as much of it as I can.
Everyone in the family loves fries. Unfortunately, for them, there were only a few pieces were left of the Seasoned Fries when they arrived. I just couldn't help but pick one piece after another.
If you prefer it a little less extravagant, the Classic Skin-On Fries would be a great choice too. I overheard the mother beside me who ordered the Classic Skin-On Fries saying that she loves eating fries at Sandwicheese! because the potatoes they use are non-GMO.
The mother's comment piqued my curiosity as to what kind of fries and seasoning is using so I asked their friendly staff. I was advised that for most of their potato dishes in their menu, like the Seasoned Fries that I had, what they use are USPB frozen potatoes.
During my grocery time at the SM Manila's Supermarket.
I looked around to find out where I can buy the products. Apparently, you can buy US frozen potatoes in bulk, packaged retail, or takal – takal (loose servins).
To be safe, I decided to go for the packed ones for easy storage and hygiene.
I got a bit carried away. (The free green peas worked ;p) But, it's healthy anyway. Did you know that US Potatoes are recommended by the leading nutrition experts like Harvard Medical School's Dr. George L. Blackburn and Registered Dietritian Ann M. Coulston, past president of the American Dietetic Association, to be part of a healthy balanced diet? One whole russet potato has only 110 calories, no fat, excellent source of potassium, high in fiber and rich in vitamin C.
Just to be sure, I bought a brand that has the United States Potato Board (USPB) Logo on the package.
About USPB
The United States Potato Board (USPB) is the promotion and marketing organization for the US potato industry. The USPB is supported and directed solely by the 4,000 commercial potato growers operating in the United States. They are currently in active partnership with the Philippine food industry. And, are now making it an awareness that Filipino consumers can easily purchase US frozen potatoes in leading supermarkets.

Seasoned Fries Recipe
The family has been enjoying my home-made seasoned fries. I'll share my recipe so you (and even your kids) can easily make one too.
Ingredients
300 g USPB Frozen French Fries
1 Tbsp of Parley Flakes
1 Tbsp of Barbecue Powder
1 Cup of Canola Oil (any oil will do)
Kitchen Equipement and Tools
1 Deep Frying Pan
1 Frying Basket
1 Bowl (for straining and pouring the seasoning)
Since I couldn't find Parsley Flakes in the supermarket, I decided to make my own.
Step 1: Heat the Canola Oil in the deep frying pan with medium-heat. The amount should be enough for you to dip the frying basket.
Step 2: Bring oil temperature up to 375 degrees F. You can see the oil bubble up as an indication if you don't have any way to measure the temperature.
Step 3: While waiting for the oil to be ready, detach the ice pieces from the frozen fries and place them into the frying basket. Note that being hard frozen is essential for the perfect crisp.
Step 4: When the oil is ready, submerge the frying basket along with the Frozen French Fries for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5: Gently strain it so hot oil won't drip off the frying basket.
Step 6: Season the golden brown french fries with the barbecue powder and parsley flakes.
Here it is the Seasoned Fries. You can now have them as often as you want. I made this within minutes just in time for our family movie night. This is tasty enough for me. But, if you want to have it with the Garlic Cream Cheese, just puree 1 clove of garlic and blend with the Cream Cheese and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

The family has always wanted to check out The Grove so we drove out there and landed at Sunrise Buckets.
Sunrise Buckets looks like a small surf shack apparently lost in the crowded city of Pasig.
Food
Salad
Starting our meal with a healthy salad. The Buffalo Chicken Salad is a classic salad with greens and your choice of dressing: vinaigrette (our option) or ranch dressing plus their Buffalo Chicken Poppers with bleu cheese and sour cream.
Fries
Enticed by the food posters, mom ordered the Chili Fries. It was served in a rectangular baking pan smothered with cheese sauce and chili con carne that gives comforting delight to.the crisp coated and internally mushy thick potato fries.
By the Bay
The Fish Garden Salad is a combination of their crispy brown fish of the day served with mustard dip and salad with vinaigrette.
Wings
Of course, the main star of our night were the buckets of chicken Wings.
Each bucket was labelled accordingly so we don't get confused cause some really look alike. We wanted to try more variants so we opted to have everything at half pound which is 4-5pieces of wings.
With our plastic gloves on, we pleasured ourselves with the glazed sauces and crunchy chicken skin.
The
Sunrise Original is classic buffalo wings and we love it just the way it is.
The A & W Rootbeer Glazed is an interesting twist that we all appreciated.
We found the Jack Daniel's too sweet for our taste.
The Jim Beam Jalapeno is really good with its nice spicy kick.
The Garlic Parmesan was just okay.
The Wings were so skinny so we managed to leave only the bones for the bone collector.
Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Sunrise Buckets is a fun place to get your hands dirty and delight your taste buds with different sauces. I just wished the Wings weren't as skinny so it's worth the effort.
