After roaming around Camp John Hay in Baguio City, the we Tsinoy Foodies together with the Baguio Bliss 2012 event group settled ourselves to the nearest Food Hut we could find. It had a carinderia (canteen) style. Select the food you want, pay at the counter and get your order once reheated.

Because I have a sensitive stomach, I only get to eat these casual street foods at home. But, people at our household are not favor of deep fried foods so we rarely cook those. I was glad that the Camp John Hay Food Hut has those. We ordered all kinds for sharing.
It was my first time to try the Chicken Balls and I didn't like it. It tasted dominantly of pepper. I still like Kikiam the most. =)
Seeing that they had Puto Bumbong, I just had to order. I love Puto Bumbong. Their version was not as tight as the ones I've tried in Manila but the taste was better. It was served with coconut shreds and muscovado sugar.

Eating at the Camp John Hay Food Hut is nothing special but still a fun bonding experience for the group. It is also a convenient place to eat when at Camp John Hay.
