Marcia Adam's is one of my aunt's favorite places and because she super adored every visit, we were convinced to visit it too.

I've read in blogs that we should reserve ahead because they have limited dining space so we did. 

To our surprise, the place was huge and there were different types of dining areas.

I can see why my aunt loved it here.  Everything is artsy from the structures even to the littlest details like the utensils.

Dining here felt like your in the comforts of your own home but with the refreshing atmosphere of your dream garden.

It was a cool drizzling day but being in Marcia Adam's Tuscany made us feel like we were bask in bright sunshine and embraced by the colors of spring flowers. 

It's amazing how so many different things chime in as one.   The food takes a while to be served but we didn't mind as we found the place enchanting and we took it a chance to have a fun bonding time.

Complimentary Bread

Having travelled all the way there, we appreciated the Complimentary Bread as soon as it landed on our well-decorated table.


Salads (additional 75 php to substitute the included appetizer)

♥ Provolone Melon and Arugula Salad (325 php)

The Provolone Melon and Arugula Salad was served in a beautiful form of a flower.  It has some proscuitto, provolone cheese, arugula and melon balls.  It was sprinkled with a sweet and tangy raspbery vinaigrettte.


Appetizers

Soup of the Day (Bacon and Potato)

For such a cold weather, the Bacon and Potato gave us a pleasing warmth from our mouths to our bellies.

Amalfi Prawns

The Amalfi Prawns are rather small fried and bread prawns with subtle marinade of salt, pepper, olive oil and parsley.  Perhaps, I was too famished as it only took me a few seconds to pop these onto my mouth and they were gone.

Kebabs

♥ Beef Tenderloin and Bacon Kebabs (875 php)

The Beef Tenderloin and Bacon Kebabs was one of the best dishes that we tried.  The beef tenderloin was so savory and succulent.  The only draw back was that we were almost finished before this dish was served.

Fish Souvalaki (700 php)

The Fish Souvalaki for that day was tanigue.  It was somewhat dry so we regretted not ordering a more meaty option instead.

♥ Grilled Aromatic Pork (700 php)

The Grilled Aromatic Pork is a must try!  I can't really pinpoint their blend of herbs and spices but it was definitely good!

Italian Pork Chop (795 php)

The Italian Pork Chop was something new for us as well.  It was not the usually sweet marinade that we are used to.  It was lightly seasoned. 

Stews and Casserole 

♥ Spanish Bean Stew (700 php)

Prior to this, the only bean stew I've tried is the canned Hunt's Pork and Beans.  Since the price disparity is huge, the taste is also that much of a difference.  I loved the Spanish Bean Stew!  But I think I'll settle for the canned version for most days due to affordability.

♥ Spanish Chicken Casserole (755 php)

The Spanish Chicken Casserole was another dish that gained most approval.  It's so good, it will make you eat more rice!


Pasta

♥ Ai Funghi (765 php)

The Ai Funghi was simple but the freshness of the mushrooms gave it a big boost.

Bolognese (765 php)

I liked that the Bolognese was tangy rather than sweet but other than that, it didn't have much leverage compared to the other dishes.


Desserts

♥ Panna Cotta with Lemon Sauce

The Panna Cotta with Lemon Sauce is a great way to end the meal.  It's citrus flavors will cleanse and refresh your palate.

Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Cream with Berry Compote

The Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Cream with Berry Compote brings a mellow tangy berry flavor that will reset your tongue into clean cool slate.

Banana Split with Chocolate Ice Cream

The Banana Split with Chocolate Ice Cream is my least favorite dessert.  THe fried banana slices and chocolate were too heavy for a finale.

♥ Lemon Cheesecake (add 75 php to main course)

The best choice but comes with additional price is the Lemon Cheesecake.

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Marcia Adam's Tuscany offers a unique atmosphere paired with their unique quality menu selections.  Other than being expensive and far from the city, I don't see any drawbacks that would hinder you from dining here.  I highly suggest it for dates and all types of intimate occasions.  And, they change their menu every season so more reason to go back again.

The third stop for the Baguio Food Tour 2014 (#BFT2014) is Alfoncito's Place at Kisad Road. 
It's found on the basement so we were all clueless on what to expect. 

I was really amazed at how artsy and quaint the place was.  It had colorful paper butterflies, wall arts, ginger bread house and all sorts of mix match that work well together.


I even found their clock to be cool.


It's the first time I've seen a cafe with a sign like this.  What a great idea.  



While hands off my gadgets, completely offline and disconnected, I kept myself busy with their place mat which doubles as a place mat.  When I was in grade school, we always had this bulletin board labelled "Best in Art" where all the best works are plastered for display.  I'm proud to say I got my works hanged there sometimes.  I kind of miss showing my artistic side... so what do you think? =p

Chicken Crostini (100 php)

The Chicken Crostini is a serving of 3 toasted country bread topped with chicken strip, tomato slice, melted cheese and pesto.  It was a nice crunchy starter.

♥ Barbecue Pork Panini (145 php)

One of my favorite items during our visit was the Barbecue Pork Panini with mixed green salad on the side.


Pasta

Linguini al Pesto with Oven-Baked Herbed Chicken (180 php)

The Linguini al Pesto with Oven-Baked Herbed Chicken was loved by my companions.  The pasta was very tasty and the Oven-Baked Herbed Chicken strips were moist, tender and delicious too.  

♥ Spaghetti al Aglio e Olive (155 php)

 The Spaghetti al Aglio e Olive is spiced with chili and garlic with lots of olives!  I really enjoy the spicy garlicky flavor of this dish! 

♥ Penne Alla Bolognese (180 php)

 Their Penne Alla Bolognese is a great interpretation of my classic favorite pasta dish.  I love that has a nice blend of tanginess.  The meatball was also good!

I really enjoyed their silky and fluffy crepes!  My friends and I each had our own favorites.  I loved the Apple and Cinnamon Crepe because it has a nice balance of sweet and spice.

Irish Creme (80 php)

Everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks but I felt my Irish Creme was a bit bland and diluted. 

Cucumber Twist (50 php/glass)

The Cucumber Twist is a cucumber, mint and lemon flavored Italian soda.  It was a refreshing drink.

I really Alfoncito's Place because it makes me feel laid back and relaxed.  Food is quite affordable too.  My friends were really please with their Oatmeal Shakes so I guess I should try that on my next visit.

Domino's Pizza Chino Roces Branch had a clean ambiance with a visible kitchen from the counter so you could watch as your pizza is being prepared.  

Domino's Pizza also has a screen that updates you the status of your order.  Weird though.  We didn't see our order in the screen.  Is it because we ordered too many of a variety?

Extravaganzza has always been our default order at Domino's Pizza ever since.  The quality is as good as before.  I love their pizza dough so I prefer the hand tossed.  With the extravaganzza you can also fully appreciate the freshness of their ingredients.

Potato Pizza 12" Hand Tossed (549 php)

The Potato Pizza is topped with potato wedges, bacon, corn and onions, mushroom and mayonnaise.  Although I find it sinful and heavy, its worth the try.

♥ Apple Crumble 7" (149 php)

The Apple Crumble is so good that we instantly regret not ordering a bigger size upon tasting.  It has three layers.  The first one is their signature cream cheese, followed by the apple streusles and then the crumble.  The flavor is perfect!  It was not too sweet yet very tasty.  The crispiness is also delightful!  This is one of the best version of apple crumble that I've tried.  This is a must try!

Cheesy Bread (60 php)

The Cheesy Bread is liked as thick as their pizza crust topped with cheese.

Domino's Pizza is one of the most competitive in the pizza industry!  One can't go wrong in their pizza selections and their Apple Crumble.  Their pricing is affordable and it's best to dine in groups.  Although they have limited branches, they do deliver with a 30-minute guarantee so give it a try!
