Rowena's: Tagaytay's Stop Over for Pies and Tarts

Every time a family member goes to Tagaytay, it is a tradition to bring back some tarts from Rowena's as pasalubong.  For many years, we've made Rowena's our food stop over before heading home.

Since the our usual favorite Rowena's Buko Tarts are unavailable, we decided to try the Rowena's Buko Pie.   It was a wrong decision.  The pies are not as good as the tarts.  Next time, we'll just skip this.

The key to Rowena's tarts are the goodness of crumbles.  I like it a bit golden brown and crispy.  The crumby tarts with sweet apple bits makes  Rowena's Pineapple Tart sensational.   This is my favorite!

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Rowena's is one of the best food stop overs for pies and tarts in Tagaytay.  I highly recommend their tarts.  We also tried their lengua de gato but it didn't fit to our liking.
