Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant: Chinese Dinner and Sight of Shamcey Supsup

Golden Bay is one of the grandest Chinese Seafood Restaurants.  It can be easily spotted along Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Blvd with its bright LED light signage.

As expected from a fresh seafood restaurant, there are lot of aquariums where all your seafoods are sourced.

It had the traditional Chinese ambiance with large round tables and chandeliers.  the servers and managers are also in the usual Chinese restaurant dress code.

The Seafood & Corn Soup small serving is already good for 3-4 persons.

Poultry

Taiwan Three Cup Chicken (S)  (320 php)

The Taiwan Three Cup Chicken was pretty good.  The chicken bits were tender and the flavor is just right.

Eel & Pork Tendon with Abalon Sauce (S) (420 php)

I was disappointed with the Eel & Pork Tendon with Abalon Sauce because it was dominantly pork tendon and the eel bits were small and dry.  It was not even close to the picture in the menu which got us enticed in the first place.

Rice and Noodles

Fried Rice with Egg White and Dried Scallop (S) (360 php)

Shamcey Supsup

Just when we were about to exit, we saw Shamcey Supsup with her boyfriend Lloyd Lee.  I got this shot before the people began to notice and asked her to take photos with them.

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant offers a good ambiance and service.  It is certainly one of the best consideration for Chinese occasions. The food was good.  But, I did not feel that the price was justified with the taste and ingredients.  Perhaps, we just ordered the wrong food choices.
