For its grand opening, crowds gathered for the  8 php piccolo-sized gelato and coffee available from 4-8 pm.  What a great deal right?  No wonder the lines reached the corner even before 4 pm.

The ground floor is where the Gelato Bar, Coffee Bar and Pizza Bar is.  More seating is available on the second level.

Gelato Bar
Many have lined up for the Gelato Bar.  And, even if it was not what your reason for visiting Casa Italia, you'll find it difficult to resist.

It has 40 all natural flavors from rich bitter sweet ones like Dark Truffle, classics like Vanilla, nutty like Pistachio, fruity ones like Kiwi and Cat Mountain King Durian Gelato made from Davao Durian (Really good.  It's not on display so ask for it), tea-infused like Green Tea or liquor-infused.  What I tried (you can ask for FREE sample tasting): Dark Truffle, Vanilla, ♥ Strawberry Cheesecake, ♥ Pistachio, Strawberry, ♥ Durian, Salted Caramel, ♥ After Eight and ♥ Green Tea.   I especially loved the Green Tea.  I noticed the Earl Grey too late.  (That's what happens when you get overwhelmed by all the flavors)  Next time, I shall try that!

 

You can have it on a Cup, Waffle Cone or Belgian Waffle.

Belgian Waffle is the best!  I wondered why it took a while.  But, when it was served, I instantly knew that it was freshly made so it was perfectly crunchy on the outer layer and so soft as you bite through. This is one of the best I've tried!  You can choose 2 gelato flavors as a topping.

Coffee Bar
Casa Italia takes pride in their micro-roasted Otto Coffee.  Otto means "eight" in Italian.  

Cappuccino Medio (130 php)

In order to assure full-bodied freshness in every cup, Casa Italia uses only 100% Arabica beans kept until 8 weeks from roasting.  

Affogato Solo (175 php) (My friend's Ted's drink.  He says it's strong just the way he likes it)

Enjoy your coffee hot or cold in 3 sizes.  There are also other options like the Gelato Frappe which as I've observed is their version of a Milkshake.

Pizza Bar
You can see that they have tons of toppings for their pizzas.




 
All his pizzas were delicious as the dough is chewy and toppings are of the freshest quality.

Italian Dishes
Using the finest quality and freshest ingredients and traditional Italian cooking technique, Casa Italia's food is sure to impress.  Pasta lovers should try their Beef Lasagna and Chicken Cannelloni.

Now, food gathering has become easy and fun because there's Burgos Eats.  It's even dog-friendly, so you can bring along the dogs too.

Just between my barkada, Eric likes beer and pizza, Chester likes Japanese food, Hency likes donuts and I like to be healthy once in a while. Now, we can all just head over to Burgos Eats and here why.

Burgos Eats unites all 5 brands together in one roof: Pancake House, Teriyaki Boy, Krispy Kreme, Jamba Juice and Yellow Cab. And, there's some sounds played by bands too.
 

Each restaurant has its own dining area where you can enjoy the usual interiors just as its other branches.


But, just as when you think it's like the other branches, this again cause there as a lot more. Like Krispy Kreme offers special doughnut variants not available in any other store.

 Personally, I'd ditch the usual ambiance and go al fresco.

Fruit N' Nut (275 php)

The Fruit N' Nut is colorful plate of mixed fruits, avocado, walnuts and almonds with fresh cuts of greens and fresh orange herb vinaigrette.

Mexicali (275 php)

A new salad experience is guaranteed with Mexicali as you eat your salad in a corn tortilla like a taco.  It has all the works like: roasted corn, black beans, chiptotle salsa, avocado and jalapeno plus romaine and red cabbage.

Caramelized Apple, Bacon + Gorgonzola (375 php)

Of course, the highlight of every visit at CPK is their pizza.  Bacon fanatics will surely be delighted with the Caramelized Apple, Bacon + Gorgonzola.  It's a harmonic combination of savory and sweet. 

Steak Mushroom + Truffle (695 Regular)

The Steak Mushroom + Truffle is my gourmet pizza fantasy brought to reality.  Tender grilled steak slices are complemented well by the button mushrooms and black truffle cream sauce.


Crispy Thin Crust Pizzas

BAJA Pizza (545 php)

Spiced with jalapeños and topped with mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes, avocado and your choice of chicken or shrimp and drizzled with homemade Baja sauce and mayo-chipotle dressing, the mexicali inspired BAJA pizza is sure to impress.

Vegetable Primavera (495 php Sharing)

The Vegetable Primavera is a healthy and hearty mix of zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, yellow bell pepper and cherry tomatoes in an al dente pasta bathe in sun-dried tomato oil.
