Being a toy collector himself, my only brother shared with us about Sci-Fi Cafe with much enthusiasm.  So one Saturday evening, we beamed up there to check it out at Robinson's Galleria. 

As the place was surrounded by glass windows, you could already see from the outside that it was filled with collectible toys or hot toys.  It's like entering a different dimension when Science Fiction can be reality.

Inside it had a limited seating capacity.  It has a cashier counter, cake chiller and a costume counter.

Even the ceiling was not spared.  It had huge toy space ships from Star Wars.

Being surrounded by toys give a unique experience that unleashes ones geeky side.  To be honest, we can't help but roam about and appreciate the toy displays.

Some of the toys are huge like the Aliens collection!  I bet they cost a lot.

The varieties of toys displayed how vast science fiction covers.   It can be it various mediums like movies, books, comics and more.

I'm a huge Men in Black fan.  I really liked how they ended it with the last movie too.  Seeing the model of the Neuralyzer up close made me wish I had one of my own.  But, I'm afraid it won't go for the purpose of saving the Earth haha.  =p

Ghost Busters Winston Zeddemore, Dr. Egon Spengler, Dr. Peter Venkman and Dr. Raymond "Ray" Stantz

Seeing the toy figures of the characters from the movie Ghost Busters and Ghost Busters II surely brings back memories.  My siblings and I have watched that multiple times.  We also watched "The Real Ghost Busters" and "Extreme Ghost Busters" as soon as we arrive home from school.   My brother used to have a toy size of cartoon version before.  We also had the life-size ghost buster proton pack set which includes proton backpack that is attached to the beam emitter with yellow foam acting as rays, PK-E meter, arm band and id.  We also have the life-size ghost trap which was glow in the dark and really opens when you step on the trigger.  My brother and I used to role play with those light off mode because we also had ghost buster toys which were also glow in the dark.

Star Wars

Our family is more of a Star Wars than a Star Trek fan.  We have occasional Star War movie marathons.  We watched the all the Star Wars movie in cinemas including the remake.  My siblings and I cosplayed with their awesome light-saber toys and cool masks too!

Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter, Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and Sweeney Todd

Johnny Depp is an actor which I admire the most.  He has the talent to immerse himself in every role he plays.   Edward Scissorhands is one of our childhood favorite movies.  I used to watch it repetitively with my cousins.  Sweeney Todd is still on top of my list as a musical movie.  But I think, the best role that was played by Johnny Depp was Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.

My youngest sister had the Vanilla Milk Shake.  It had a nice frothy and creamy consistency.  It's one of the best milk shakes I've tried!

Sci-Fi Cafe is definitely a must visit for anyone to relive their childhood, fantasize about movies, appreciate toys, play and cosplay or just chill.  They have a lot of food options which is ideal for groups too.  We'll try to be back for that.  The concept is really cool!  They regularly change their toy displays and add more cosplay stuffs too.
