Good news for northies, The Tokyo Matcha has just opened its second Philippine branch in Gateway 2.
As with all other The Tokyo Matcha branches, its got a modern and minimalist interior.
We, however, feel that the store layout here is more strategically designed.
The inner area is dedicated for its brewing and ordering. So the storefront highlights the cozy dine-in area where you can see mostly young customers chilling with their matcha favorites.
What makes The Tokyo Matcha globally distinguished is its dedication to spread high quality 100% organic matcha around the world. Aside from matcha drinks and desserts, they've also innovated healthy products such as the Matcha Protein (2,130 php) which was a blended powder mix with 100% organic matcha, 5 spices: Cinnamon (Body Temperature Regulation), Cardamom (Gut Health), Ginger (Blood Circulation), Black Pepper (Metabolism) and Cloves (Liver Health) and whey and pea protein.
Each drink is also prepared the traditional way at the brewing station.

As can be seen from the store crowd of The Matcha Tokyo, the young generation are becoming more and more health-concious and mindful of their diets and are supportive of healthier and sustainable food choices. Of course, we are proud to be one of them. The Manila exclusive drink - Ube Matcha Latte is our favorite! We also love the Matcha French Flan and Matcha Milk Jam Croffle.
