Ginzadon Japanese and Korean Restaurant at Maxim Hotel

After playing at the casino slot machines at Resorts World Manila, Kurt and I decided to eat at Ginzadon Japanese and Korean Restaurant at Maxim Hotel.

Ginzadon has a nice elegant serene Japanese ambiance.  It also had a bar area.  We noticed that they were many Japanese diners and businessmen holding meetings during our visit.

Food

Okazu (Japanese Side Dishes)

We were served some Okazu (Japanese Side Dishes).  The anchovies and the bean sprouts are my favorite types of Okazu.

Ramen

Shouyo Ramen (280 php)

The Shouyo Ramen is ramen noodles in Japanese soya soup.  The soup tasted great but I was not impressed by the texture of the noodles.  Aside from the shreds of seaweeds, the ramen was also pretty bare.  

Yakimono

Yakitori (210 php)

The Yakitori is delicious.  It was very fragrant and tasty.  The chicken meat was tender and juicy too.  It was a great combination with the Gohan (Japanese Plain Rice) and the Ozaku.

Dessert

♥Shiratama Zenzai (88 php)

The Shiratama Zenzai is a scoop of green tea ice cream surrounded by whipped cream, red beans and rice balls.  I loved this!  Kurt said I suddenly glowed like a happy little kid while eating this dessert.  Because of this, dinner was satisfactory for me. =D

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Ginzadon Japanese and Korean Restaurant offers a great ambiance and service.  The food was good but nothing special.  The price is a bit expensive.  On the other hand, their dessert is pretty good and reasonably priced too.
