Slice Cafe High Street: Healthier Meals in Bonifacio High Street

I've previously shared the desserts I've tried at Slice Cafe High Street, I've revisited them again and this time to try their healthier meals.

It was a usual day and as expected, it was full during lunch hour.

You could see the staffs running to-and-fro. 

Food

♥ Salmon Burger (390 php)

The Salmon Burger is a quarter pound salmon patty with teriyaki sauce, lettuce, caramelized onions and alfalfa in between wheat buns.  It served with wasabi mayo and fried banana chips.  This is a must try!  I'm very impressed with the boldness of flavor and juiciness of the salmon patty.

Rice Meals

I was surprised by the size of the Seafood Rice Melt.

But, I didn't find the price justifiable because aside from the two pieces of shrimp on top of it, I could barely feel the salmon and shrimp bits on mixed in the brown rice.  Good thing it was covered in romesco sauce, mushroom bechamel sauce and melted cheese so it was flavorful even with less seafood toppings.

Beef Rice Melt (420 php)

The Beef Rice Melt had a generous amoung of thinly sliced Angus beef mixed in the brown rice and topped with melted cheese.  This is one really heavy meal that I'd actually suggest for sharing.

All-Day Breakfast

♥ Hungry Man's Egg Benedict (390 php)

Eggs benedicts are beginning to be a popular item these days as it becomes a platform where chefs display their creative twists.  Curious on how slice serves one, I ordered their best-selling Hungry Man's Egg Benedict.  The Hungry Man's Egg Benedict with crunchy bacon, sauteed spinach and smoked ham is one of the best one yet!  

Seasonal Slushee

♥ Luscious Lychee Taho (150 php)

The Luscious Lychee Taho is more on the icy side so the taho is just mild and texture of it is hardly noticeable.  It was very refreshing.

Slice Cafe showcases how healthy meals can be enjoyed without sacrificing flavor.  Price is steep but justified by their quality ingredients and hefty serving portions.
