Magnum Ice Cream Bar: Worthy of All The Raving

I've been hearing a lot about the Magnum Ice Cream Bar so I was glad when fellow Tsinoy Foodie Kurt brought me a Magnum Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream Bar from the nearby 7-11 convenient store.  Magnum is actually a collaboration between Unilever and RFM (Selecta).   Magnum is a worldwide brand owned by the British/Dutch company.

Upon opening its attractive and elegant looking foil, I honestly thought that the Magnum Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream Bar looks ordinary.

But, upon first bite, I was impressed by the thick dark crackling Belgian chocolate shell.  The creamy chocolate ice-cream inside was so rich too.  It had a smooth chocolate sauce on some parts of it that enhanced the taste. I initially thought that all the fuzz was just an ad campaign of some sort.  But, now I totally agree that Magnum is worth of all the raving!


Before Magnum arrived here in the Philippines, I used to think that Dove Ice Cream Bar was the best.  Now, I'm converted to being a Magnum fan.  I can't wait to try their other flavors.

Magnum offers premium quality in every bite.  The price is fairly at the same price as other premium ice creams brands.  The packaging and presentation is really nice too.  I highly recommend it!
