Cheesesteaks, Burgers and Drinks CBD at Ayala Triangle (Closed)

Makati's a great place to be in.  Aside from having top notch malls, there's also a wide variety of restaurants.  Since I love meat, I decided to give Cheesesteaks, Burgers and Drinks (CBD) in Ayala Triangle a try.  


Just from outside you could already see how popular this place is...

Food

Cheesesteak, Burgers and Drinks CBD serves all cheesesteaks and burgers with Potato Chips (45 php).  

Cheesesteaks

Mushroom Cheesesteak Sandwich (310 php)

Since its made from 100% Angus Beef, there's no denying that the meat on this  Mushroom Cheesesteak Sandwich was delicious.  Unfortunately, I also expected to eat and enjoy the mushroom as well and not just get tiny bits of it.

Burgers

Frankfurt Trio Burger (260 php)

The blending of Cheddar, Swiss and Mozzarella cheese, makes the  Frankfurt Trio Burger a sinfully delicious meal.

San Franciso Salmon Burger (265 php)

The San Francisco Salmon Burger contains CBD's homemade salmon patty with pesto mayo sauce.

Chicago Peppercorn Burger (225 php)

The  Chicago Peppercorn Burger contains pepper crust, fried onion straws and creamy steak sauce.

I don't know any other burger joint that let's you trade your burger buns for rice.  CBD understands that some people are not satisfied to eat without rice.  This is what makes CBD unique, You have a choice whether or not you want to eat your burger as a snack or as a meal.

CBD Double Patty Burger Manila Special (235 php)

The  CBD Double Patty Burger Manila Special contains two quarter pounder 100% Angus Beef patties making it a heavy meal.

NY Bacon Cheeseburger  Manila Special (220 php)

As the name implies, the  NY Bacon Cheeseburger  Manila Special comes with bacon and cheese aside from the Angus Beef patty.

Chicken

♥Buffalo Chicken Strips (10 pcs.) (285 php)

CBD's Buffalo Chicken Strips is something I would definitely order again.  It is crispy and spiced just enough to give you a light tangy taste.  It is something both spicy and non-spicy lovers would enjoy. 

Drinks

♥Chocolate Milk Shake (120 php)

♥Blueberry Cheesecake Shake and Bake  (140 php)

♥Chocolate Fudge and Strawberry Shortcake Shake and Bake (Sampler Size)

♥Blueberry Cheesecake and Banana Cream Pie Shake and Bake (Sampler Size)

These drinks are called the Shake and Bake. It's milkshake plus cake blended together to create a delightful beverage.  It's also one of CBD's most sellable selections.  Though I'm not much of a cake fan, I definitely enjoyed this.

Side Orders

Onion Rings (80 php)

CBD's Onion Rings are huge!  These Onion Rings are fried in batter making it crunchy and tasty.

Curly Fries (60 php) and French Fries (45 php)

I love their Curly Fries and French Fries.  The Curly Fries are a bit pungent just the way I like it.  The French Fries where thick and tasty.

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict

Cheesesteaks, Burgers and Drinks CBD's cheesesteak and burgers is delicious because they use Angus Beef Patties.  However, they are not consistent in the proportion of the ingredients.  The Buffalo Chicken Strips and Shake and Bake are a must try!  The desserts are decent enough to justify its affordable price.
