Army Navy Crossroads: Happy Bunker Dining over Burgers and Burritos

I first glanced over Crossroads when I had a buffet at Best Western's Premier Hotel F1 Restaurant. Crossroads is a highly visible venue at Fort Bonifacio Global City that houses a number of restaurants such as Army Navy Crossroads.  The place has an adequate parking space.  It is also just beside the football field where the Azkals practice everyday until 11 p.m.

army navy counter
Army Navy Crossroads has a clean spacious bunker-like ambiance.  The place is pretty cool!  This is actually one of the best Philippine-pioneered food chains around.

army navy mission
Army Navy has only one mission and that is for their customers to "Come in Happy, Walk Out Happy".

Food

Burger

You know how competitive guys are when they are challenged right?  As expected Kurt just had to order the Bully Boy Burger.

The Bully Boy Burger is composed of triple quarter-pounder natural beef patties topped with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes, onions, tomatoes, onions, ketchup snuggled between toasted Sesame Seed Kaiser Buns.  Army Navy's beef patties taste like natural meat and they are naturally juicy.  Kurt enjoyed his burger to the last bite.

Sides

Every time I dined at Army Navy, I always had Onion Rings.  It just occurred to me that I have never tried their Freedom Fries.  Unlike french fries from other food chains, the Freedom Fries is thin like a shoe string.  The flavorings is also not too strong or spicy so you tend to nibble and enjoy more.  It is very addictive!

Burrito

Like the burgers, the Burritos are also wrapped in foil and served over wax paper and a round metal dish tray.  The Burritos also comes with the salsa, Army Navy special sauce and a slice of lime.

Carnitas (Pork) Burrito (165 php)
The Carnitas (Pork) Burrito had some pork cubes, Spanish rice, beans, onions, lettuce and cilantro wrapped in flour tortilla.  It's my first time to try pork and it was good especially with the chili sauce and lime.  The flour tortilla is soft and the ingredients are offered at the right amount.

chili sauce
Chili Verde and Chili Rojo
The Chili Verde and Chili Rojo goes really well with my burrito.  The Chili Rojo tastes like "Tabasco".  But, I liked the Chili Verde more because it gives the spice without any other taste.

The Steak Burrito is similar to the Carnitas (Pork) Burrito except that it has chunky steak bits.

Drinks

 Libertea Regular (55 php)
The Libertea is a freshly brewed tea.  It is very tasty and not too sweet.  It's pretty good.

Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Army Navy Crossroads is a fun place to hang out for some burgers and burritos.  Burger or burrito, it depends on your preference.  For us, we both agree that we like their burgers more.  It's best to order along some side dish and Libertea.  I love the service at Army Navy Crossroads because its quick to serve.  The staffs are also friendly.  Of course, other branches share the same design and quality too.
