22 Prime: Chef's Lunch Specials at Discovery Suites Ortigas

22 Prime is well-known for its steaks.  But, that's not all they offer.  Under the wing of Executive Chef Gerwin Bailon, they now offer affodable lunch special that vary on a monthly basis.  

Food
From September 1 to 30, 2014, you can try these five new lunch specials.
 

♥ Seared Ahi Tuna (325 php)

The Seared Ahi Tuna is cooked with precision.  As you can see, each equally thick tuna piece is seared perfectly.  Each bite brings out the natural flavor of the tuna.  It is served with an arugula salad with balsamic and pesto dressing.
 

Veal Schnitzel with Marble Potatoes and Wilted Spinach (1,200 php)

The Veal Schnitzel with Marble Potatoes and Wilted Spinach is a hefty serving so I suggest this for sharing. A bite through its golden brown crispy coating is followed by its thinly sliced succulent and tender pork meat. 
 

Herbs Crusted Fish with Crushed Potato and Beans with a Spicy Tomato Sauce (680 php)

The Herbs Crusted Fish with Crushed Potato and Beans with a Spicy Tomato Sauce makes use of a fish that's feshly available for the day.  I love how its so rich in flavor but gentle enough to keep you wanting for more.  It is served with french beans, oh-so-yummy crushed potato and spicy tomato sauce.  The spicy tomato sauce is really fiery so applying a few drop will suffice.

♥ Chicken Mushroom Risotto with Parmesan Crisp (720 php)

The Chicken Mushroom Risotto with Parmesan Crisp is my favorite! The chickenn was moist.  The mushroom risotto had a rich truffle taste.  The parmesan crisp is divine!
 

♥ USDA Angus Prime Center Cut Sirloin (P2,200/400 grams)

The cut for the month of September is the USDA Angus Prime Center Cut Sirloin served with Bearnaise sauces served with twice baked potato, arugula and sauteed vegetables.

♥ Coffee Tiramisu (250 php)

Last but definitely not the least is the Coffee Tiramisu that completely won my heart and taste buds.  Coffee lovers like me couldn't help but sing praise over its rich and aromatic  coffee soeaked sponges coupled with cream.  This is the best tiramisu I've tried yet!
