Lab-as Seafood Restaurant, Dumaguete City

Lab-as Seafood Restaurant has been around since 1988.  As hinted by the cebuano word Lab-as which means fresh, it serves a wide  range of seafood dishes.

It is a perfect place to chill out at night or have a casual dine in during the day.

We chose to dine at night since it was cooler and it was more lively with the live band.

Lab-As Specialties

♥ Ginataang Curacha (135 php/100 grams)

The dishes like the Ginataang Curacha were something new for us.  It was really good!

♥ Lumpiang Isda (300 php)

Another recommended specialy was the Lumpiang Isda. As you can see, they literally used the fish as the roll wrapper.

♥ Baked Scallops (250 php)

The Baked Scallops is also a must order!

Soups

♥ Pesang Maya-Maya (138 php/100 grams)

Our server also recommended the Pesang Maya-Maya which is a maya-maya soup with rice, ginger and chinese cabbage.  It was a hit for us as well!

Grilled Tanigue (262 php)

The Grilled Tanigue served in sizzling plate was cooked just right.

Native Fried Chicken (Whole/350 php)

For non-seafood, you can order the Native Fried Chicken. 

Vegetables

Adobong Kangkong (150 php)

For vegetable, they have a good rendition of the Adobong Kangkong since the kangkong is complemented by a generous amount of onion, garlic and squid.

Desserts

They also offer desserts.
