Lemongrass Asian Bistro: Authentic Asian Delight

We don't usually visit malls which are far from our home.  But, for the sake of Christmas shopping last December, we ended up taking a stroll at Shangri-la Plaza Mall.  There were a lot of food places there we have not tried.  Somehow, Lemongrass Asian Bistro was successful in luring us in.

Lemongrass has cute Asian lanterns.  I'm surmising that the green color scheme is in compliance with its name.  The seats are well-cushioned and comfortable for a delightful casual meal.  The bar has a random mix Asian decors which added color and style to the place.

Starters

♥ Lemongrass Minced Curry Chicken Cake (195 php)

The Lemongrass Minced Curry Chicken Cake is crunchy on the outside with a moist soft chicken cake on the inside.  The curry flavor was not overwhelming and it was complemented by coriander.

Soup and Noodle Soup

♥ Ancient Chinese Sticky Misua Wet (260 php)

The Ancient Chinese Sticky Misua has a lot of toppings.  It was very flavorful and the texture is also great.

Chicken

Lemongrass Grilled Chicken with Soy (305 php)

The Lemongrass Grilled Chicken with Soy is rich in flavor and is tender too!

Sorry, I forgot the name of this dish but it was also good. 

Rice

Lemongrass Fried Rice (Good for 2) (230 php)

The Lemongrass Fried Rice is similar to the Fookien fried rice with their own unique twist.  It was good.  

♥ Thai Shrimp Pasta with Pork & Green Mango (Good For Two) (230 php)

This is one of the best Thai Shrimp Pasta with Pork & Green Mango versions that I have ever tried!  Perhaps because it had a lot of toppings such as nuts and onions,  egg, green mango and seasoned pork.

Desserts

♥ Thai Tago with Water Chestnuts 

Although the Thai Tago with Water Chestnuts looks no different from the rest we've tried,  it was very flavorful!  We all enjoyed this.

Lemongrass Asian Bistro is one of the best Authentic Asian restaurants around.  Every dish we tried was simply delightful.  The pricing is very reasonable.  They also offer a wide range of variety.  We will surely come back for more!
