Dolor's Kakanin by Mommy's Malabon Pride: Assorted Kakanin

My family is a huge fan of the our local delicacies which is more often referred to as "kakanin".  My personal favorite is the Assorted Kakanin which is the best of all worlds in terms of  "kakanin". 

One of our favorite brands when buying Sapin-Sapin is that of Dolor's Kakanin by Mommy's Malabon Pride which is sold at the SM Mall of Asia SM Hypermart every Wednesday.  There are other local food products sold there too.

♥ Assorted Kakanin 

Unlike others, Dolor's Kakanin has an Assorted Kakanin that is round, slightly flat and very colorful.   It consists of six flavors: Sapin-Sapin, Kalamay Ube, Kutsinta, Mais, Kamoteng Kahoy and Biko.  My family loves this because we all race to get the parts we want. =p  I really like the Kalamay Ube and the Kutsinta.  So yes, I am the one who sliced the part in between the Kalamay Ube and the  Kutsinta before remembering to take a picture! =D  The  Assorted Kakanin comes with a packet of brown fried grated coconut which you put on that and then enjoy! Yum!  This is really one of the best the Philippines has to offer. =)
